Rachel McAdams is no stranger to looking glamorous at night – whether it’s a premiere, gala, or lining up with top Hollywood A-listers during awards season. Rachel McAdams is one of my favorite clients because she is versatile and shares my passion for make-up. I created many looks for her during the press for her latest film, Sherlock Holmes. My personal style is always to bring out either the eyes or the lips. With my latest look I created on Rachel, I wanted to do a chocolate smokey eye with accents of silver and gold, paired with a soft rosey blush and sheer pink lip. This color palette really pops with just a touch of a sun-kissed glow to her skin. This is a look that can work on anyone who needs to glam for an evening event.
Troy’s Tip: To create a dynamic duo for evening lips, apply a shimmery lip gloss over your lipstick for instant wow factor. My favorite dynamic duos are red lipstick and gold shimmery lip gloss, and pale pink or peach with a shimmery champagne lip gloss.
