The thicker brow is back in a big way! We’ve even been reading about dermatologists and hair experts who are doing hair transplants on brows – particularly on women who’ve over tweezed them, or older women, since a thick brow is a sign of youth – and brows decrease in thickness as one ages. Anastasia Soare, our favorite Hollywood brow guru, was everywhere throughout the Oscars – and tonight, March 10 at 8pm on the CW, she will be doing the brows on “America’s Next Top Model” – tivo it! Meanwhile, last week, Oprah Winfrey herself popped into Anastasia’s Beverly Hills location on Bedford Drive to get her brows done in private. Jennifer Lopez saw Anastasia right before the Oscars, and Penelope Cruz saw her the actual morning of the Oscars, over her breakfast with Javier Bardem. Pregnant “Precious” actress Paula Patton saw her, too – while Penelope and Jennifer get high arches, Paula gets a more medium one. And a few days before the Oscars, Anastasia hosted an Oscar suite with spa services at her new location in Brentwood at 11933 Wilshire Blvd near Bundy. It included jewelry by Kimberly McDonald (whose jewels were on Michelle Pfeiffer at the Oscars), and 3 top LA plastic surgeons – Raj Kinodia, Frank Ryan and Garth Fisher – are so enamored of Anastasia’s eyebrow prowess, they came to celebrate as well, with fashion and beauty editors, Entertainment Tonight, and stylists to the stars.
