Tonight’s (March 16) taping of David Letterman is complete on the East Coast, and both Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler showed up – separately – promoting “The Bounty Hunter.” Aniston did not suddenly change her all-black color scheme – she wore a chic black A line coat, over the knee, and no stockings with her sandals (NY in March? yikes) to the taping at Letterman’s Broadway and 53rd St. Studio, and then a simple black dress on the show. This woman is SO all about her hair, skin, body and face – she’s a fashion minimalist, and it’s a brave move – but it shows she’s got a good grip on who she is, and that it’s more about HER than the clothes she wears. It sure does not make her less popular with her many fans. And the black clothes make the multi-colored honey strands in her hair really stand out. Let’s see how “The Bounty Hunter” opens against “Alice in Wonderland” this weekend. We have no doubt that “Alice” will probably get a best costume Oscar for costume designer Colleen Atwood next year – the looks for all the characters were just extraordinary.
