Cameron Diaz almost always wears some pretty controversial dresses to the Globes and Oscars – remember that Chinese Ungaro that one year? That was scary. But one must give her credit for having real fashion nerve – unlike someone like Jennifer Aniston, who always wears the exact same dress by a different designer (this year, Valentino). Cameron’s red satin floor length Alexander McQueen looked like a full length hit of shiny red lipgloss – it was NOT SHY. She clearly has the figure to pull if off, that’s for sure – and it fit her well and showed off her figure in a great light. The color, though, was better suited to television than to the carpet. And particularly to the rain, and to this umbrella – but that isn’t really her fault. At least her hair was pulled back and not dishevelled and she let the dress do all the talking – cause this dress isn’t quiet. We do love the McQueen flared and slightly puffed shoulder. It’s a well shaped dress.
