It would be very foolhardy to shop for designer goods right now, as “Black Friday” is coming – the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 27th, is the day prices begin to get slashed by about at least forty percent off. In the meantime, since there’s a flurry of events and activity going on, if you need to buy anything, hit up Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters online. We were just scrolling through Urbanoutfitters.com, and found two cute dresses to layer with sweaters, jackets or boots: The Urban Renewal Ruched Waist Silky Dress is made from vintage dresses and reconstruced, and has the popular rose print on it, and works well with the contrast of black leather – for only $68. We also like the Silence & Noise Menswear Dress, a cute short grey dress in menswear suiting fabric with a little bit of encrusted stones at the neck, for contrast. This could be dressed up – or dressed down, with a fedora (468). And for those prices, you don’t have to worry if they’ll work next season. Though, by the way, they will. – Merle Ginsberg
