CARITA : An Update on a Beautiful Old French Brand

Jun23

The various hotels around Los Angeles have some great spas, and each has its treatment affiliation. The Sofitel on Beverly Boulevard and LaCienega uses CARITA treatments (Le Spa Sofitel http://www.lespala.com/Menu/#LeSpa_face) Carita is one of the most decadent, highly advanced anti-aging skincare lines based on efficient formulas. It’s one of those things French women know about, that we don’t. (http://us.caritadirect.com) But we should.

At The Sofitel, you can investigate all their treatments, but we recommend the five week intensive Haute Beaute Cheveu Hair Loss Care treatment, that, while expensive ($300 per visit), but boosts cellular metabolism, adding glycogen to hair, plus favonoid and peptides, which limit atrophy of the hair follicles, and improve the scalp’s microcirculation. There are anti-aging and anti-hair loss products that the estheticians can teach you about, that are highly effective, and more concentrated than anything you’d find at a beauty supply store!

The “Ageless Beauty” treatment uses the company’s Le Renovateur anti-aging treatment and tightening treatments for ninety minutes. It was developed at the Carita Maison De Beaute in Paris, and uses a blend of sunflower, clove, thyme and lemon to exfoliate, polish, life and refine the skin.

The Progressive Beauty facial at Sofitel exfoliates, and deals with wrinkles and pigmentation, for $175. It also uses a high tech machine, the Ideal Pro-Lift, to infuse serum into the skin.

And the big product launch this summer (August) is a new Diamond Cream (yes, $600), and it’s Carita’s most decadent product ever formulated. This is obviously for those who want the best, best, best.
