i’m a huge fan of antony micallef’s work. i first discovered him, when i was in london on a promo tour with christina aguilera. she took me to lazarides gallery and that is where some of the first banksy’s i’d ever seen in person were hanging right there in front of me… he is considered a pop art street artist- but, what is so cool about him is that he is classically trained in fine arts. his art combines high and low brow concepts. his images are graphic and strong and also play a fun little game of tongue and cheek with today’s contemporary values.
