Cecconi’s restaurant at Melrose and Robertson is most definitely the new foodery hotspot in L.A. – owned by the British owners of Soho House. Now, Audrey Bernstein, whose one of L.A.’s most popular nightlife promoters for the fashion and artistic crowd, is taking over Tuesday nights there and calling it “Bacio” – Italian for kiss. It will kick in tomorrow night, April 14, but you need a reservation (310 432 2001); it starts at 9:30, and there’s free proseco from 10 to 11pm – no small thing, these days. Cecconi is at 8764 Melrose. We like this trend of the weekly “nights” at a place geared toward a specific crowd. Bryan Rabin’s Diamond Dogs with dj Kelly Cole on Thursday nights was a HUGE hit this last week, and now we have a reason to go out on Tuesdays, and forget that we can’t shop till the sales kick in.
