So a little birdy told us that Milk Studios, the great NYC photo studio in the meatpacking district on the west side – and home of many a great photo opening and fashion event – is coming to Los Angeles. The company has secured a large space near Cahuenga and Hollywood Boulevard, which is handy, because Smashbox is in Culver City, and Bergamot Station has a great photo studio – but it would be convenient to have a photo space in Hollywood. Apparently Milk has been looking for an L.A. space for over a year – and it will take at least another eight months before it opens – but we thought we’d spread the good news early. We might just develop a taste for milk again . . . .
